Campout on the USS Lexington

You are invited to join Troop/Pack 101 on a campout on the USS Lexington. We have reserved a the weekend of August 6-7th(Fri-Sat).

We have to have a minimum of 30 people (kids or adults) to make the trip or it will be cancelled. We can take a larger group than 30 if the want is there. It looks like we will be the only group that night as of now. Any age scouts or non-scouts are welcomed to come. Cubs through Venturing.

The cost is $50 a person which includes 2 meals, movie and campout in the bunks of the ship. The only thing not included is $4 for the flight simulator and snacks or game room.

We are required to have 1 adult for every 4 scouts – BSA requirements. Please let me know if you want to go. All money must be turned in by May 31st so I can reserve the exact # of spots we need. After this date we can’t add any other spots.

New training requirements to recharter your unit:

In 2010, all Scoutmasters, Cubmasters, and Crew Advisors must have completed all their position trainings.

In 2011, all contact positions, including all den leaders, assistant Scoutmasters, and all crew assistant Advisors, must have completed all their position trainings.
